Welcome to CornerFoods! These Terms of Service govern your use of our platform, including our website, iOS, and Android apps, as you enjoy authentic Nigerian street food and connect with our foodie community in Lagos.

Introduction

By accessing or using CornerFoods’ services, including ordering food, posting on Feads, using Food Sharing, joining Dining groups, or applying Food Credits, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our platform.

User Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate personal information during signup, ordering, or Food Sharing requests.
  • Use the platform for lawful purposes, including respectful engagement on Feads and Dining groups.
  • Do not manipulate ratings, reviews, or Food Credit balances.
  • Respect vendor policies and community guidelines when sharing or requesting payments.

Vendor Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate menu details, pricing, and availability on the platform.
  • Adhere to hygiene standards, including participation in the Keep Our Corners Clean campaign.
  • Process orders promptly and update statuses in real-time.
  • Handle Food Sharing and Dining group requests fairly and transparently.

Payments

Payments are processed securely via Paystack or Flutterwave. Food Credits can also be used for orders or shared with mutuals. CornerFoods is not responsible for payment disputes but will assist in resolving issues with vendors promptly.

Order Cancellations and Refunds

Orders can be canceled before preparation begins via the app. Refunds are processed per vendor policies through the original payment method or Food Credits. Contact support for assistance at support@cornerfoods.com or +234 987 654 3210 (WhatsApp).

Community Features

Feads, Food Sharing, and Dining groups are designed to foster community engagement. Users must respect others’ privacy, avoid offensive content, and use these features for their intended purposes (e.g., sharing meals, splitting bills).

Limitation of Liability

CornerFoods is not liable for issues related to vendor services, food quality, delivery delays, or misuse of Feads, Food Sharing, or Food Credits. We strive to ensure a seamless experience but cannot guarantee vendor performance.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations, including fraudulent activity, misuse of Food Credits, or inappropriate behavior on Feads or Dining groups.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date and communicated via email or app notifications.
